[English] Seth Aaron Rogen is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director who has become one of the most successful comedy filmmakers of his generation. Beginning his career as a stand-up comedian in Vancouver at age 13, Rogen moved to Los Angeles and joined the cast of Judd Apatow’s cult TV series Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000). He gained recognition with supporting roles in Apatow films The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005) and Knocked Up (2007), the latter establishing him as a leading man. Rogen co-wrote Superbad (2007) with childhood friend Evan Goldberg, which became a comedy classic. He has starred in numerous successful comedies including Pineapple Express (2008), Funny People (2009), This Is the End (2013), Neighbors (2014), and Sausage Party (2016). As a writer-producer-director with creative partner Evan Goldberg, Rogen has created This Is the End (2013), The Interview (2014), Sausage Party (2016), and the TV series Preacher (2016-2019) and The Boys (2019-present).
