In the rain-drenched summer of 2021, 16-year-old Hodaka Morishima runs away from his remote island home to seek a new life in Tokyo. He finds the city overwhelmed by an endless, abnormal downpour that has turned the world gray and hopeless. Struggling to survive alone, Hodaka eventually meets Hina Amano, a cheerful girl with a mysterious secret: she has the power to stop the rain and summon the sun simply by praying. Drawn together by the mystery of the skies, they begin a small business to bring sunshine to those who need it most—unaware of the heavy price such a miracle demands.

2021年の夏、離島から家出し、一人東京へやってきた16歳の少年・帆高。しかし、そこには連日降り続く異常な長雨によって、灰色に沈んだ街が広がっていました。孤独な都会の片隅で、帆高は不思議な能力を持つ少女・陽菜と出会います。
「ねぇ、今から晴れるよ」 彼女が祈りを捧げると、雲の隙間から眩しい光が差し込み、世界を鮮やかに塗り替えていく——。雨を止める力を持つ「晴れ女」の陽菜と、彼女の力を通して自らの居場所を見つけた帆高。運命に翻弄される二人が、空と世界の秘密を巡る冒険へと足を踏み出します。
