[English] Dame Judi Dench is a legendary British actress, widely regarded as one of the greatest performers of her generation. After establishing a brilliant stage career with the Royal Shakespeare Company, she achieved global cinematic fame as “M” in the James Bond series (1995–2015). She won an Academy Award for her iconic 8-minute performance in Shakespeare in Love (1998) and earned seven additional Oscar nominations throughout her career. Although she effectively retired from acting in 2024 due to vision loss from macular degeneration, her extraordinary legacy continues to inspire the world.
