Synopsis / あらすじ

Three years after the Krippin Virus—originally a genetically engineered cure for cancer—mutated and decimated the global population, military virologist Robert Neville lives as the last immune survivor in an empty Manhattan. By day, he hunts for food in the over-grown ruins of Times Square and broadcasts daily radio messages, hoping to find other survivors. In his high-security basement laboratory, he conducts relentless experiments on infected rats, seeking a cure from his own blood. His only companion is his loyal German Shepherd, Sam. By night, the infected “Dark Seekers” emerge from the shadows, forcing Neville to barricade himself in silence, waiting for the dawn to begin his scientific mission once more.
