Synopsis / あらすじ
English Solomon Northup, a free Black musician living in New York, is kidnapped and sold into slavery in 1841. Stripped of his identity and renamed “Platt,” he endures twelve years of unimaginable brutality on Louisiana plantations. From the “kind” yet complicit owners to the sadistic Edwin Epps, Solomon navigates a dehumanizing system where survival requires absolute silence.
