[English] Robert Luketic is an Australian-born filmmaker. Born in Sydney in 1973, he studied at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). His 1997 short film Titsiana Booberini won acclaim at Sundance and Aspen, catching the attention of MGM executives. In 2001, he made his feature directorial debut with the global hit Legally Blonde, launching Reese Witherspoon to stardom and establishing himself as a reliable director of mainstream entertainment, with subsequent commercial successes including Monster-in-Law (2005) and 21 (2008).
